FILMS

Green Grass:
Green Grass, a short film, deals with one of America's most widely debated and hottest political issues:
illegal immigration.

Marcilio Filho, a Brazilian father who started his own landscaping service in the US, works several jobs
to take care of his family both here and his native Brazil. Patrick O?Brien is an Irish-American father, whose landscaping business is faltering. Their responsibilities and chosen professions are similar, their status in
the US is not. Green Grass not only explores both sides of the immigration issue, but also deals with the
stresses of family responsibilities and is aimed at fostering open communication in an effort to create
greater understanding by all.  The screenplay for Green Grass, written by Karen Webb, won Second Prize
in the 2007 Vail Film Festival Screenwriting Competition and was  chosen by the Rhode Island Film
Collaborative (RIFC) as their 2007 film project. Green Grass was filmed in Summer 2007 in Hopkinton, MA, Framingham, MA, and Providence, RI.

The film has screened for the Rhode Island Film Collaborative (RIFC) and was chosen as an official selection
in the 2009 LA Shorts Film Fest (Los Angeles, CA), 2008 Roxbury Film Festival (Boston, MA), 2008 Flint Film Festival (Flint, MI), and the 2008 Pawtucket Film Festival (Pawtucket, RI.)

Green Grass has also been chosen as a 2008/2009 Filmmakers Collaborative Film Talks Series film.  More information on screening the film in your local area can be made through the Filmmakers Collaborative can

The Joy of Sox:
Pinch Hit Productions and Two Cousins Productions are currently producing a documentary film on the Boston
Red Sox and spirituality called, "The Joy of Sox."  To view a trailer of the film or to learn more about the film, please visit
http://www.thejoyofsoxmovie.com/

The Joy of Sox includes personal insights from Red Sox players, confessions from Red Sox Nation,
observations from noted baseball commentators, and interviews with prominent scientists and energy
medicine clinicians.
The Joy of Sox will prove that the well-known home field advantage is the result of
more than just loud noise and familiar settings.

New research into remote attention, healing prayer, and interpersonal brainwave interactions will reveal
how invisible forces connect people to bring about peak performance.
Actual computer studies performed
at Fenway Park will prove the existence of invisible "Sox fan energy" and its impact on their team, and
viewers will even learn simple techniques to boost their cheers' impact.

The producers are currently looking for individual investors and corporate sponsors to fund the post-
production and distribution (including MLB licensing fees.)  Please contact us

investment and sponsorship.

Is He Real or Not?
Pinch Hit Productions teamed with Lighten Up, Ladies Productions on "Is He Real or Not?", a short
narrative film.  In "Is He Real or Not,"
a short narrative film, focuses on one little girl's thought
processes after hearing that Santa's not real, and makes us question our beliefs in Santa and in life.

After witnessing an argument between the neighborhood bully and another child on the school bus,
nine-year-old Erin starts to wonder if what she heard was true. Could her parents have been lying to
her all this time? What about the Easter Bunny, Cupid, Leprechauns, and the Tooth Fairy? After investigating and thinking about it, Erin makes her decision.

"Is He Real or Not?" was filmed in December 2008/January 2009 in Hopkinton, MA, and Shrewsbury,
MA, with local actors from Hopkinton and the surrounding area. This film was made in conjunction
with Enter Stage Left Theater in Hopkinton, MA, our non-profit 501c3 fiscal sponsor.
