About Karen Webb:
Owner of both Pinch Hit Productions, LLC, and Pinch Hit Marketing, Ms. Webb held various
positions at EMC Corporation, a Fortune 500 storage hardware and software company. As
Director of Global Event Marketing for EMC, she was responsible for corporate event marketing,
corporate video, event production and program management, and marketing strategy, and held
the position of Director of Solutions Marketing, responsible for product positioning and solutions
marketing strategy and execution. Ms. Webb holds a BSBA in Management from Lesley University,
an MBA from the Babson Graduate School of Business, and a Certificate in Screenwriting from
Emerson College, in addition to post graduate studies at MIT Sloan, Harvard Business School, and
Babson College in Marketing, Leadership, Management, Innovation, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship.
Ms. Webb is a member of Women in Film and Video New England (WIFV/NE), the International
Women's Writers Guild (IWWG), Romance Writers of America (RWA), and Scriptscene (a
screenwriter's division of RWA.) She is also a featured writer and columnist for various
publications and websites and an instructor at Enter Stage Left Theater. Her publication credits
